Ah, summertime. School’s out of session. It’s the season filled with happy memories of care-free days. Swimming, eating popsicles and having fun. Those are the childhood memories for most. But if you’re a child in foster care living in a group home, or domestic violence shelter, then scheduled games and activities, or trying to keep from shrieking, “I’m bored” is a bit more challenging. At Juli’s Kids we want every child in foster care to have a memorable summer bursting with happy experiences to share, to talk about when school starts in the Fall, and to hold close to their hearts, forever. That’s why we’re taking kids to “The Happiest Place on Earth”, yes Disneyland! Juli’s Kids is working with some of the best partners in the world to create our biggest, dreamiest event ever, Fostering Dreams: A Day at Disney.
Fostering Dreams is a full day of activities at Disneyland. Juli’s Kids is inviting foster kids living in the Los Angeles, California area to feel like they are stepping right into a dream. These phenomenal foster youths will encounter storybook wonder as their favorite Disney characters come to life. Fairytale dreams come true for children of all ages at the Disneyland Theme Park.
Fostering Dreams is an amazing opportunity for corporate playmakers to become awesome dreammakers! It’s a day to make the real world seem far away and the world of make-believe seem as real as the smile on these kid’s faces. They will delight in classic attractions, enchanting fireworks, musical parades, cupcakes, ice cream, wonderment and bliss! We can’t wait to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Doc McStuffins, Cinderella, Lighting McQueen, Ariel, Anna, Elsa, Princess Tiana, Moana, Mulan, Queen of Katwe, Pocahontas, Star Wars, and the whole cast of dynamic Disney animation that makes the kids in all of us grin from ear to ear!
