Jam Sports Productions, along with special corporate partners, are happy to announce, After The Rain: Honoring the Eternity of Prince, a fundraising entertainment series that will begin on a Purple day in June in the year of 2018. The 3-day event to honor the legacy of the international pop-star will be held in Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood, California, June 7-10, 2018. After The Rain will present multiple nights of entertainment that will feature some of the best talent this country has to offer. It will be what we’ve all been waiting for; a new memory you will never forget! The event weekend has been meticulously designed to bring Prince “fams” from around the globe to meet, listen, learn, and share their favorite Prince songs, concerts, pictures, interviews and moments in history that changed their lives. This is an epic event for the fams by the fams that will include celebratory parties like its 1999!, and a ONE day pop-up with social media experiences, grand photo walls, a purple army scavenger hunt, curations of music, installations of fan art, free giveaways and so much more!
All proceeds from these special experiences raise money for Juli’s Kids Motivated to Succeed. Affectionally known as Juli’s Kids, this 501(C)(3) organization enriches, empowers, impacts and strengthens the lives of vulnerable abused, abandoned, neglected, bullied and homeless youth in foster care, child protective services, group homes, LGBTQIA teens in crisis residential centers, and youths housed with their mothers in Domestic Violence Centers for Battered Women.

The monies raised from After The Rain will support the Musicality programs for talented foster kids, many of whom turn to music, song or dance as their coping strategies to combat their painful, tormented past and struggles with depression. For almost 20 years, Juli’s Kids has been financially supportive of performance arts that encourage music education and exploration for foster kids and adopted youth who are inspired by the talent of His Royal Badness.

The After The Rain music phenomena is being produced with heart & soul, infused with rhythm and blues, rocking with pop, jazzed with the funk, and focused on love for one another.

To properly celebrate when a Prince was born, pay homage to the anniversary of 40 years of Prince, and introduce a new generation of listeners, musicians, dancers, artists, fashion designers and educators to his beloved work, we have a full range of activities that are beautifully Prince-centric. Our art installations also include facets of people, places and things that inspired him, and people he inspired.
